In a month, Linda and I are planning a trip to Hawaii. Yes, we have a 3 weeks vacation here on the west coast from 27th of August and some colleagues at Nanosolar tipped me about the prices for a week to Hawaii. So we have now decided to take 6 or 7 days there drinking Coconut drinks and bouncing banana skirts with our hips instead of spending an extra week in sunny California.
Have any of you been to Hawaii earlier and/or have some tips on hotels and places you “must see”, we will gratefully appreciate all the info we can get.
Either use the comment link down to the right for this article or send me a mail at morten(a)modula.no if you have some tips. Thanks!
I need a new bike when I come home this autumn. Yeah, my last one was stolen during the winter some time (I thought it was safe unlocked in the VG garage, silly me). The question is: What to buy?
I have set a price limit on 6-7000 Nkr. Initially I planned to just buy the Nakamura Summit, which have won pretty much what there is to win of bike reviews in Norway (in that price range). BUT, according to Intersport’s web page, they are sold out. The Summit had an estimated price of 5400 Nkr, do you know any other brand/model I can get within my price range?
Any stores who usually gives good service and prices which a poor student could live with?
The sad thing is that the prices her in the US are nearly the half of what we pay back home, but I haven’t figured out how to pack a bike into my suitcase yet.
